PUdaily, Shanghai-- On May 10, 2019, the U.S. government raised its additional tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports from 10% to 25%. Threatening a further move, it planned to impose additional tariffs on another $300 billion worth of Chinese goods. The Chinese government responded quickly. The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that the existing additional tariffs on some of the $60 billion worth of American imports would be further increased to 25%, 20% and 10% from June 1, 2019...
