Bayer (Shanghai ) 250 ktpa TDI Project Plans to Mechanical Completion in Late 2010

PUdaily, Shanghai-On January 28, Bayer MaterialScience (China) holds the press conference in its headquarter of Citigroup Tower, Shanghai. In the meeting, Michael Koening, the CEO of Bayer MaterialScience discloses the 250 ktpa TDI project process and he adds that the mechanical completion will be finished in late 2010 and the operating time will be several months later after the mechanical completion.
Bayer MaterialScience has successfully consolidated its four legal entities in China under one roof: Bayer MaterialScience (China) Company Limited (BMSC). The merged entities are: Bayer Coatings Systems Shanghai Co. Ltd., Bayer Polymers (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, and Bayer Polyurethanes (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., which are production facilities located at the Bayer Integrated Site Shanghai (BISS), plus Bayer MaterialScience Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. The company is now the largest foreign invested company in Shanghai.
