Indian Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation into Polyether Polyols from China and Thailand

On March 29, 2023, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into polyether polyols (flexible slabstock polyol) originating from or imported from China and Thailand with a molecular weight of 3000-4000. The investigation is in response to an application submitted by Manali Petrochemicals Ltd on behalf of the industry.

The investigation period for dumping is from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2022. The investigation covers different products under various subheadings of the Indian customs codes 3907 20, 3907 29, 3907 99. Concerned parties are required to register their responses within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.
