Global adhesive giant Sika Group's wholly-owned subsidiary, Sika (Zhejiang) New Materials Co., Ltd., has applied for pre-approval for a new construction project. The project aims to produce 141,300 tons per year of high-performance environmentally friendly adhesives and coatings.

Main Construction Content and Scale: The project involves purchasing 66,691 square meters of land (approximately 100 acres) and acquiring production equipment such as mixing tanks, filters, grinders, feed tanks, conveyor pumps, production tanks, and dispersers. The facility will have an annual production capacity of:
- 3,500 tons of acrylic fireproof coatings
- 3,000 tons of epoxy fireproof coatings
- 15,000 tons of epoxy resin flooring
- 10,000 tons of epoxy grout curing agents
- 7,200 tons of polyurethane flooring coatings
- 4,000 tons of structural adhesives
- 600 tons of acrylate adhesives
- 66,000 tons of silicone sealants
- 16,300 tons of polyurethane adhesives
- 5,300 tons of epoxy adhesives
- 10,000 tons of waterproof coatings
The project is expected to generate an annual output value of CNY 4,173.2 million. Additionally, the facility plans to import approximately 11 product series through general trade channels for storage and sales (excluding repackaging), with an expected annual sales value of CNY 1,315.1 million. Once fully operational, the project is anticipated to achieve an annual total output value of CNY 4,304.71 million, contributing CNY 343.41 million in taxes.
