TMWB Foam Private Limited, a joint venture (JV) between Woodbridge and TM Automotive Seating Systems, held a grand opening event for its new plant in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on February 14, 2025. The facility will provide seating systems to manufacturers of commercial and passenger vehicles and the bus industry.

“This is a milestone for our business in the Indian market. It showcases our products and technologies, and we are pleased to launch them in collaboration with our partner,” said Kai Jacobsen, President & CEO, Woodbridge. “Just over one year ago, the team started working on the partnership, and this plant is a testament to our success and a crucial step in Woodbridge’s growth within the country.”

The new plant in Pune covers an area of 45,413 square feet (4,219 square meters) and specializes in manufacturing molded foam, interior components, and vacuum-formed parts. With nearly 80 employees, this state-of-the-art facility is strategically located in India. It will create new jobs, expand the facility's technical capabilities, and enhance workforce skills while providing world-class seating systems to original equipment manufacturers within the region.
