On June 16, Midea Group met with the delegation from the State Government of Minas Gerais, Brazil. During the meeting, the company announced four new investment projects totaling R$198 million, expected to create 830 direct jobs.

📍 The four projects include:

• A logistics distribution center in Extrema

• A Welling motor factory in Santa Rita do Sapucaí

• An EPS Midea Group factory in Pouso Alegre

• A new refrigerator factory also in Pouso Alegre

With these additions, Midea's cumulative investment in Minas Gerais will reach R$828 million, generating a total of 2,150 jobs. This reflects Midea's deepening supply chain presence in Latin America and its continued commitment to long-term investment, #sustainable development, and local #innovation in Brazil.
