TDI: China TDI market has been on slow downward pathway throughout July because weak demands weigh down the prices while less supply keeps it at slow pace...

 

Toluene: Domestic toluene market has been always rising to RMB8480/ton pulled by upward crude before falling back to RMB8180/ton due to a lack of buying interests. The drops in the H2 of this month erase its gain to only RMB300/ton...

 

Import and Export Data: TDI exports of China in June climbed by 46.98% over May because of great export increment to Taiwan and Japan, which saw 1200 tons and 2015 tons respectively over May. 

 Polymeric MDI: China polymeric MDI has been declining all the way in July because of anemic demand and ample supplies despite maintenances at Wanhua, Bayer and BASF...

 Pure MDI: Pure MDI market in China also loses its grounds on traders’ continuous price cut amid bearish outlook on the market and downstream buyers mainly stay sidelined on seasonally weak buying interest...

Benzene: China benzene market is largely stable within this month dragged by bleak demand, despite of rising oil prices. Spot quotations for prompt cargoes are mainly heard at RMB 9050-9010/ton.

 Aniline: Aniline prices in China stay high in July because of reduced output resulting from intentional limited production among manufacturers. Spot prices are heard at RMB11500-12000/ton bank draft.

 Propylene Oxide: Propylene oxide prices continuously slide down to RMB11500/ton struck by increasing inventories resulting from low demands. However, along with liquid-chlorine market’s largely increment, PO prices successfully rebound...

 

Propylene: Propylene prices once decrease to RMB9800-9850/ton almost to its cost line based on weak demands but abundant market supply with imported propylene stocks’ arriving and increasing propylene inventories...

 

Liquid Chlorine: Liquid chlorine prices keep increasing to RMB500-600/ton based on rigid demands and tight supply as most chlor-alkali factories operate with low loads.

 

Flexible Polyols: Flexible polyols market supply has been tight since the beginning of July. Both polyols suppliers and downstream end-users retain low inventories as they are negative about later market.

 

Flexible Polyols (HR Polyols): HR polyols transactions move slowly with decreasing rigid demands as its downstream automotive factories operate with low loads and some are in holidays due to high temperature.

 

Rigid Polyols: Negative sentiment pervades in rigid polyols market at first and polyols suppliers shoulder high sales pressure as PO market remains weak and downstream demands are quite slack...

 

POP: POP market moves from stable to soft with few orders and disappointed transactions. Market enquires are rare and only a few buyers purchase in small orders...

 

Elastomer Polyols: Elastomer polyols transactions are relatively smooth as its downstream sectors like plastic track, waterproof and plastic core-rubber-tires markets are in busy season...

THF: In July, domestic THF market runs feebly on dull season and trading market performs to be gloomy. Currently, manufacturers are eager to sell off and prices competition is fierce between stocks holders, thus THF market continues declining.

 

Upholstered Furniture: China produced 3,632,700 pieces of upholstered furniture (including mattress and sofa) from January to June, up 5.52% compared with May. Zhejiang, Guangdong and Shanghai’s outputs almost cover more than half of the total outputs...
